I only have 1 GIG data plan with my phone carrier. How do I listen to the music on my playlist while I am out running or walking a half-marathon and training? Do I need to download all the songs first? Do I need to buy extra storage space on my phone or a new phone?? I do not want to see my phone bill next month and all the music was streaming via my LTE/4G carrier waves.
When you do so, songs within the playlist will start downloading to your phone, one by one (The currently downloading song will have a loading symbol). I reccomend you to do this while you are connected to a Wi-Fi, since a connectionis needed to download them.
If you have marked a playlist as Available Offline, and songs won't download (no song has the loading symbol and they have a gray arrow next to them) then try deleting apps and stuff you don't need and maybe that helps.
I have downloaded 3 playlists and they have the green arrow. I cannot find anything that says settings. Do you mean setting on my laptop? If I play the donwloaded music, is it playing without wifi? Is it using my data on my iphone? I need bluetooth to connect to my car and my speaker. Does this involve wifi? Please speak to me as if I am a five year old. I dont understand techny language.
Thanks! Although, I have not had any problems since about a week after this question was posted back in 2015. I believe the first response was the correct answer - that, in addition to allowing the download of certain playlist songs (I think it's up to 5000 now?) only those playlists that you downloaded need to be set to play offline and only they will play and - they do play.
Since then, I'm on a different data plan with my carrier up to 6GB ... I work and live in a wifi zone so, even if I am out - sometimes I will just turn off my wifi and play Spotify "live" instead of offline from downloaded music
As long as you have Spotify set on Offline Mode you shouldn't be using any mobile data. However, you'll need an internet connection to download the music you want available offline first. That can either be while using WiFi or data, however I'd suggest using WiFi especially if you want to make available offline lots of songs or playlists. After they're all downloaded (the gray circle next to the songs should turn green), you can turn Offline Mode on and listen to everything you've downloaded without using up your data

I do have a book I use to learn the songs, which comes with a recording, as well as melody line sheet music (and guitar chords). It is called Wee Sing Bible Songs and is available through Amazon.com or Christian Book Distributors. I have not done an exhaustive study of recordings or books, so there may be a lot of other great resources.
Alternatively, you could speak with an artist directly and see if they have access to their stems. For more prominent artists, you'd likely need to talk with their label. Stems are somewhat common within the music industry, but video producers may not be aware of them. As such, the best thing you can do is ask!
You can usually download music stems to your computer as a zipped folder. You may need to use a tool like WinRAR to access the five different MP3 or WAV files. Those files should include the master track and the four stems: bass, drums, instruments, and melody. EDM artists often find tracks labeled as kick, snare, piano, and vocals. There are other ways of naming them, but these are the most common.
Hi I'm new to all this so apologies! A friend has shared some music files with me via dropbox. I have a dropbox account and have installed the app on my iphone. How do I download the music files on to my phone so I can play them?
Do you have too many pictures, videos, or music saved on your Galaxy phone or tablet? Don't worry, you're not alone. There are a number of options available to you for moving or transferring your pictures, videos, or music using a microSD card, an OTG flash drive, a PC, cloud services, or Smart Switch.
Many of the song identification programs and music recognition apps will show you information on the song, artist, album, and where to purchase or download the song. Shazam lets you purchase and download songs directly, for instance.
Others will connect you with popular music platforms, such as Apple Music, iTunes, or Amazon Music, where you can buy and download songs. Some subscription-based streaming services will let you download songs to play back later as well.
While a lot of people stream music nowadays, it is vital to know how to put music on a flash drive, especially if you want to transfer high-fidelity files or music not available on streaming services. In this guide, we explore where you can find and download music to a USB for free or transfer existing files from your computer.
So, how do I download music from my computer to my USB? When performing your download, your computer will ask you where you want to save the files. By default, it will probably have a Downloads folder where files go. At this stage of the download process, you can change the destination folder.
Make sure that your USB stick or thumb drive is connected for flash drive music downloads, and navigate to the drive instead of your Downloads folder. When you perform the download, the files will then go to this destination.
There is a chance that the files might be in a zipped format, so you may need to unzip your flash drive music downloads. Most machines have an inbuilt program to do this, so you can simply right-click on the file and select Unzip. There are a number of options and music websites for downloading your favorite tunes, either directly to a flash drive or to transfer them afterward.
Amazon Music also has a membership platform for streaming, so you can choose to pay a monthly fee for access to all the songs, but these are not downloadable within this plan, so you will have to buy the songs separately if you want to transfer them onto a flash drive or a thumb drive.
Instead, within the Apple Music app, you can now navigate to the iTunes store, where you can find and download individual songs or full albums. You also have to spend money on each individual download, unlike the Apple Music plans that give you unlimited streams of songs.
Unfortunately, there is no easy way to download the music to your flash drive. However, if you download the YouTube Music app to your device, there is an internal downloader to listen to songs while you are offline.
Step 3. Navigate to the music files you want to copy. This assumes that you have already downloaded the files. If you have recently downloaded them online, the files may be in the Downloads folder. You can press Ctrl + A to select all the files you want for the USB download music process.
Mac systems are always a little bit different to Windows, and you will be using Finder instead of File Explorer. The process to download music to a flash drive on Mac is also relatively simple and straightforward. Read on to learn how to download music to a flash drive.
Check the space on the drive. If you have tried to transfer songs, and they have not moved onto the USB drive, it could be because of a lack of space. Check there is enough room for the files you want to download.
Transferring music on an older machine such as Windows 7 can be a different process. While the download process is the same, Windows 7 has a different method of transferring compared to Windows 8 and Windows 10.
Step 4. Find the files that you want to transfer over to your drive. If you have ripped these from a CD, they may be within your Music folder, but if you have recently downloaded them from websites or iTunes, they may also be in your Downloads folder. Select all the files and folders that you want to transfer over to your USB drive.
There are some more steps, and nuanced differences depending on which operating system you are using. Read the full guide for tips on whichever operating system and machine you are using to download and transfer music.
Good day to all, the excellent instructions in this article have FINALLY enabled me to get the desired ringtone on my iPhone 13. I waded through several pimply-faced YouTube time wasters (Gad, those kids need to learn how to use video correctly) before I stumbled on this concise, correct and very useful set of instructions. These were right on the mark and got the job done, first time. Thank you. PK
Anytime I try and download a piece of music it always forces me to upgrade my account to a pro account I don't know if there is some way to get out of that screen to download it or I have to pay money to download it, and then print it.
If you're logged in into your free account you can download all scores that are public domain (and correctly labeled as such) and all original score from users that have chosen to make them available for free.
@jm6stringer: Could you edit your excellent answer to also note that on musescore.com you must be logged in with a free account:" original and public domain (PD) scores are available for download free of charge - but you have to be logged in - you can use a free account (no subscription or trial). "
musescore.com doesn't sell goods; they sell a service. That service includes many things, but one of them is, the ability to download user-created arrangements of copyrighted music. The service itself works as advertised, but of course, since we are talking user-created scores, their quality will vary. There are truly professional-quality scores there, but also scores from people just learning music, and everything in between.
